  1.  Define simulation on your own words?
Ans:  Simulation is the imitation of the operation of a real-world process or system over time.
  1. Why simulation is important in teaching and learning processes?
Ans: The importance of simulation is:
v  It makes the learner enjoyable and motivates in learning and doing activity

v  It helps to promote the learners to think critically
v  It helps to study the behavior of a system without building.
v  Results are accurate in general.
v  It permits system designers to study a problem at several different levels of abstraction.
v  It helps to provide users with practical feedback when designing real world systems.
  1. How the teacher should plan and carry out the simulation based lesson?
v  Make the instructions are clear before they start doing or start.
v  We have to anticipate the questions before they are asked.
v  Monitor student’s progress regularly.
v   Prepare multiple instructional goals.
v  Make the students aware of the specific outcomes expected of them.

  1. What do you think some of the limitations of simulation?

  Ans: The disadvantages are:

v  It consumes time while preparing

v  Cost can be an issue

Assessment is more complex than some traditional teaching methods

v It is expensive to build a simulation model.

Also it is expensive to conduct simulation.
Sometimes it is difficult to interpret the simulation results.
